The Role: Social Media Customer Experience Specialist

We are seeking someone who has that special ability to understand our guests and provide a truly magical experience from the very first interaction. Because of the family-oriented, wholesome nature of our company, we need someone who can connect with others on a genuine level and make their day a little brighter.

Our perfect Social Media Customer Experience Specialist will oversee our social media support efforts by assisting our amazing guests and potential guests with their inquiries across various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and more. You will be the first point of contact for many families dreaming of their perfect portrait experience, and your warmth, professionalism, and problem-solving skills will set the tone for their entire journey with us.

Key Responsibilities


  • Respond to inquiries and comments across all social media platforms in a timely, friendly, and professional manner

  • Ensure all client inquiries and issues are resolved promptly and professionally across multiple channels, maintaining brand consistency

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our magical portrait experiences, pricing, packages, and studio locations

  • Take appropriate actions to resolve guests' problems, concerns, and complaints while turning negative situations into positive outcomes

  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, including inquiry details, complaints, comments, and resolution steps

  • Attends and actively participates in department and company meetings to stay aligned with team goals and company initiatives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences

  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and recommend process improvements

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications


  • Minimum of 1 year of social media client support experience or a similar customer service role

  • Previous CRM and social media management software experience (Experience with Agora is preferred)

  • Intermediate technical skills including proficiency in Windows/Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be a tech-savvy individual who can adapt and learn new software quickly and easily

  • Reliable computer with very fast internet connection (THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION – you must have a dedicated workspace)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • High attention to detail with an organized approach to work

  • Resourceful and diligent in research, always finding solutions

  • Flexible and collaborative – you work well with coworkers and embrace constructive criticism to achieve company goals

  • High level of emotional intelligence – you understand customer needs and can empathize with their situations

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in the photography, retail, or hospitality industries

  • Knowledge of children's portrait or family photography services

  • Familiarity with remote work best practices and virtual collaboration tools

  • Bilingual capabilities (Spanish is a plus)

  • Experience with high-volume customer support environments
