Finance Business Intelligence Analyst I

Osaic is a financial services firm seeking a Finance Business Intelligence Analyst I to join their team. The role involves driving critical reporting, strategic direction, and evaluating firm-wide performance through data analytics and collaboration with various corporate functions.

Responsibilities

• Build foundational subject matter expertise in financial and wealth management data under guidance and supervision
• Support strategic initiatives by producing analyses, reports, and dashboards
• Assist stakeholders in understanding business questions and contributing to analytical solutions
• Develop and maintain analytical code and queries using established standards
• Follow data quality, documentation, and control standards
• Present findings clearly with guidance and mentoring

Skills

• Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant practical experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn
• Knowledge of data analytics software and tools (e.g. Python, R) and data querying languages (e.g. SQL, Snowflake)
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively
• Internship or entry-level experience in analytics, finance, or related fields
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, or BI tools such as Power BI
• Basic understanding of data governance concepts
