[Remote] Remote Customer Service Representative

The Remote Customer Service Representative serves as the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of inbound customer calls efficiently
• Listen actively to understand and address customer needs
• Provide information regarding payments and benefits from state or federal agencies
• Assist with transaction inquiries and account status updates
• Process transactions via web-based applications accurately
• Communicate empathetically while ensuring confidentiality and compliance
• Maintain knowledge of relevant programs, policies, and technologies
• Support team operations during peak periods or absences

Skills

• Minimum age of 18 and possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of experience in customer service, call center, or dispatch roles
• Successful completion of background check, credit check, and security fingerprinting
• Compliance with camera requirements for meetings and training
• Verified, secure, reliable, high-speed internet connection
• Dedicated work area with desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection
• Equipment provided by the organization
• Internet speed test minimum of 50 Mbps upload and 50 Mbps download
• Working knowledge of computers and Windows applications
• Over 1 year of previous call center experience
