Position Overview

As a valued member of the arenaflex family, the Energy Services Data Entry Clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining organized, accurate, and up-to-date digital files that support the day-to-day operations of our Energy Services Programs. You will be the guardian of our client information, ensuring that every record is properly maintained, every document is appropriately logged, and every interaction is handled with the utmost care and confidentiality.

This is a full-time remote position (WFH) that offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while remaining fully connected to our team. Key Responsibilities

As an Energy Services Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:


  • Data Management & Entry: Accurately input and maintain updated client status records in the Statewide Client Service Center, ensuring the production pipeline reflects current program status and progress.

  • Communication Monitoring: Monitor emails and incoming communications, promptly logging all documents and correspondence in the Monday.com platform to maintain seamless information flow across teams.

  • Database Compliance: Follow strict program guidelines for the use of all required database systems, including but not limited to Monday.com, CMS, CSG eConservation, HEARTWAP, LIHEAP, and In Demand platforms.

  • File Organization: Maintain meticulously organized digital and paper participant files in full accordance with program guidelines, ensuring complete compliance with agency and funder requirements.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with program staff to support, enhance, and promote effective communication and consistency in the delivery of services to our community members.

  • General Clerical Support: Assist with various clerical duties including filing, mailings, phone coverage, and other administrative tasks as needed.

  • Remote Availability: Maintain consistent availability for remote work, including attending virtual meetings, responding promptly to communications, and conducting regular duties as required.

  • Professional Development: Attend all required staff meetings, supervision sessions, training programs, and contractual meetings to stay current with program requirements and best practices.

  • Confidentiality: Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of the role, handling sensitive client information with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

  • Additional Duties: Perform related work as required to support the efficient operation of our Energy Services Programs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience


  • Associate degree from an accredited institution, OR equivalent professional experience in a related field.

  • Minimum of two years of experience in Human Services or a closely related field, OR applicable work experience demonstrating the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and families with limited incomes.

  • Note: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience, and additional directly related experience may be substituted for education on a case-by-case basis.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Bilingual in Spanish – fluency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred, as you will be serving a diverse community where Spanish-speaking clients frequently require assistance.

  • Demonstrated familiarity with database management systems and data entry protocols.

  • Previous experience in non-profit or human services organizations.

  • Strong familiarity with state and federal assistance programs such as LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program).
