About the Role
The Building Controls Specialist position at arenaflex is a critical role within our facilities management division. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of both our customers and associates while minimizing service costs through advanced diagnostic procedures and proactive problem-solving. Key Responsibilities
As a Building Controls Specialist at arenaflex, you will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities that include:

- Alert and Work Order Management: Monitor and respond to system alerts, thaws, and work orders. Identify trends in system data and take preventive action. Respond promptly to manufacturer recalls and implement necessary updates.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Program daylight harvesting systems and ensure sustainability drives and energy reductions are achieved through strategic programming changes. Track and report on energy savings metrics.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with building performance and controls teams. Utilize and share resources, information, and tools to achieve collective goals. Collaborate with managers, associates, clients, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following essential requirements:

- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of building automation systems, HVAC systems, and building controls. Familiarity with direct digital control (DDC) systems and building management systems (BMS).
