What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst, Content Valuation, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of valuations and delivering critical analytical insights for all DETV content. Your work will directly impact how arenaflex evaluates and prices its vast television content library across global markets. Here's a closer look at what your role entails:


  • Develop Sustainable Content Valuation Frameworks: You will establish and maintain distance-based content evaluating methodologies and prepare quarterly close and financial planning forecasts for both scheduled and unscripted content licensed by Hulu and Disney+ internationally. Your analytical frameworks will ensure consistency and accuracy across all content valuation processes.
  • Conduct Regional Valuation Analysis: You will consolidate quarterly regional content valuation entries and identify key variation drivers. Your ability to distill complex data into meaningful insights for senior management will be crucial in driving strategic decisions.
  • Support Long-Range Planning: Assist with preparing long-range and budget planning forecasts as needed. You will contribute to the financial planning process by providing data-driven recommendations and supporting documentation.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the essential contact to key partners at DTC Finance, Studio Finance, Interests, and Controllership. Building strong, collaborative relationships across all levels of management will be essential to your success.
  • Improve Process Efficiencies: Work closely with finance partners to identify and improve process efficiencies and the quality of attributions. Your continuous improvement mindset will help streamline operations and enhance data quality.
  • Analyze Complex Data Sets: Curate and organize large volumes of data to reach conclusions and make recommendations that result in meaningful business insights. You will leverage your analytical expertise to transform raw data into actionable intelligence.
  • Monitor Content Performance: Regularly track and maintain content performance metrics, including Nielsen ratings, critical review scores, and industry awards, for network and cable primetime programs. Your monitoring will provide valuable insights into content success and areas for improvement.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong financial modeling skills are required.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and use of pivot tables and advanced Excel formulas, including INDEX, MATCH, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, VSTACK, and nested IF statements.
  • Industry Passion: A genuine passion for the media industry and television programming. Content licensing experience is a plus but not required.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Prior experience in content valuation, media analytics, or financial analysis within the entertainment or streaming industry.

  • Familiarity with DTC platforms such as Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, Star+, or Hotstar.

  • Knowledge of content licensing agreements and international distribution models.

  • Experience with data visualization tools beyond Excel, such as Tableau or Power BI.
