Associate Attorney

Loncar Law, Ltd. is an established general practice focusing on real estate and landlord/tenant matters, seeking an Associate Attorney. The role involves appearing in court daily and requires strong research, drafting, and communication skills, with an emphasis on working independently in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Appear in court daily (via Zoom or in-person)
• Commute throughout Chicagoland to attend court and real estate closings as necessary
• Work independently in a collegial, team-oriented environment
• Demonstrate strong research and drafting skills
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form

Skills

• Must be a licensed Illinois attorney or have recently passed the Illinois Bar Exam with pending admission to the bar
• Must have reliable transportation to commute throughout Chicagoland
• Must be able to appear in court daily (via Zoom or in-person)
• Must be able to work independently in a collegial, team-oriented environment
• Must have strong research and drafting skills
• Must have familiarity with the Illinois Code of Civil Procedure
• Must have strong communication skills in both written and verbal form
• All applicants must submit resume, 3 references, and writing sample
