Position Overview: Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in shaping the member experience. You will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance with their health insurance benefits, and your ability to listen, empathize, and resolve their concerns will be key to their satisfaction and trust in arenaflex.

This position involves handling inquiries via phone, web, and written correspondence. Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of the arenaflex customer service team, you will be responsible for:

  • Issue Resolution: Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and concerns raised by members, providers, and internal departments. Investigate issues thoroughly, collaborate with cross-functional teams when necessary, and ensure timely resolution that meets or exceeds quality standards.

  • Benefits Guidance: Guide members through their plan benefits, explaining coverage details, copays, deductibles, and exclusions in a way that is easy to understand. Help members understand their rights and responsibilities under their health insurance plan.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about healthcare regulations and ensure all interactions comply with federal and state laws, as well as arenaflex policies and procedures.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all member interactions in our customer relationship management system. Track contacts, follow-up actions, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care and service.

  • Proactive Support: Anticipate member needs by providing additional information about self-service tools, wellness programs, and preventive care services that may benefit their health journey.

  • Escalation Management: Identify situations that require escalation to supervisors or specialized teams and handle transitions smoothly to ensure seamless resolution.

  • Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training sessions, team meetings, and quality reviews to enhance your knowledge of arenaflex products, services, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.

  • Availability: This position requires flexibility to work either a second shift (afternoon/evening) or third shift (night/overnight) schedule. You must be able to commit to the assigned shift.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and empathetically.

  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computer systems, navigating multiple software applications, and learning new technologies quickly.
