About the Role
The Transportation Logistics Analyst position is a critical component of our Industrial Engineering department. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing our transportation fleet operations through comprehensive data analysis, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with various departments within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
As a Transportation Logistics Analyst at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with a variety of important responsibilities that contribute to our overall operational success:
- Fleet Support and Optimization: Provide comprehensive support to the arenaflex Transportation Fleet by analyzing route efficiency, driver performance metrics, and vehicle utilization patterns. Your insights will help us maximize productivity while minimizing operational costs.
- Business Needs Assessment: Consult and communicate regularly with transportation managers, operations directors, and other stakeholders to define, prioritize, and address critical business needs. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational enhancement.
- Data Integration and Management: Integrate various data assets across multiple database platforms to create unified, actionable information streams. You will work with disparate data sources to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility throughout the organization.
- Reporting and Analysis: Build, create, and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets and other reporting tools to track key performance indicators, analyze trends, and present findings to leadership. Your work will directly inform strategic decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
- Process Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation of transportation processes, workflows, and analytical methodologies to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge transfer across teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with warehousing, manufacturing, and corporate teams to ensure seamless integration of transportation operations with overall business objectives.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Data Analysis Experience: Previous work experience in a data analyst role is strongly preferred. You should have a proven track record of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to drive business decisions.
- Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required. You should be comfortable working with complex formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data visualization tools to create meaningful reports and analyses.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications and database platforms.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Background Check: Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check as part of our commitment to maintaining a secure and trustworthy work environment.
- Drug Test: Must successfully pass a drug test in accordance with company policy and industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will significantly enhance your candidacy:
- Microsoft Access Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Access is preferred. Experience with database management and query creation will be highly valued in this role.
- Data Entry Skills: Strong typing skills and 10-key competencies are preferred. Speed and accuracy in data entry tasks will help you excel in this position.
- Transportation Industry Experience: Previous experience in transportation logistics, supply chain management, or distribution operations is a plus. Familiarity with fleet management concepts and DOT regulations is beneficial.
