The Agora Companies is searching for a Video Editor to join one of the world’s leading publishers of independent financial newsletters. This entry-level role involves supporting the marketing team by producing engaging video content and collaborating closely with the Video Director throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
- Edit and produce video content to support marketing and promotional initiatives
- Create detailed and animated motion graphics
- Design slides and full-screen graphics for promotional materials
- Assist with talent preparation and on-set coordination
- Record video and audio, ensuring accuracy and quality during script reads
- Collaborate closely with the Video Director and Graphics
- Support all aspects of video production, including sourcing stock footage, music, props, equipment, and locations
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in video production preferred (internships and relevant coursework welcome)
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite is a must (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Close attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tools and processes
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule when production demands require it
- Knowledge and experience in AI Software a plus (Elevenlabs, ChatGPT, HeyGen)
