Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company (GTL) is currently seeking an Operational Accounting Specialist to join our team. The role involves handling a variety of functions for policyholders and agents, including processing premiums and providing quality customer service.


Responsibilities

  • Process premiums and commissions on a timely and accurate basis
  • Provide quality customer service to external and internal customers
  • Learn software related to daily and monthly work including LifePro, Onbase, and PeopleSoft
  • Perform daily and monthly account reconciliations
  • Respond to inbound telephone/email/fax inquiries
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills

  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to learn a variety of administrative software
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
