About the Voice of Customer Team

Our Customer Listening Team manages one of the most comprehensive Voice of Customer programs in the industry. With over 5 million customer surveys received annually across our Consumer, Business, and Service Provider segments, we handle a massive volume of feedback that drives strategic decisions across the organization. This end-to-end VOC technique includes the design and programming of customer experience surveys—spanning 40+ research studies—that help us understand what our customers truly think, feel, and need.

As the Senior Statistics Architect, you'll be instrumental in transforming and innovating this end-to-end Voice of Customer methodology. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer insights are captured, processed, and delivered with unprecedented accuracy and speed.

What You'll Do

Your primary responsibility will be to help develop and maintain our next-generation Voice of Customer platform, sourced from our Cornerstone data infrastructure and integrated with the survey and dashboard capabilities powered by Qualtrics. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Platform Development & Maintenance: Lead the enhancement and upkeep of the Voice of Customer technology platform, ensuring seamless integration between Cornerstone and Qualtrics survey systems.

  • Business Requirements Definition: Work closely with application teams to define, structure, and capture comprehensive business requirements that translate into powerful data solutions.

  • Data Architecture Design: Architect and build robust data models that support optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions across the enterprise.

  • Big Data Solutions: Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to deliver innovative solutions while ensuring data quality and accuracy through intensive testing.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to enhance team capabilities and drive efficiency in computing programs using the big data ecosystem.

  • Analysis & Development: Power consumer story analysis and elaboration, design and develop software programs, and create automation tools that streamline processes.

  • Process Automation: Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality, efficiency, and overall team productivity.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with teams across the organization to prioritize, define, develop, and test data solutions for various use cases within the VOC end-to-end process.

Essential Qualifications:


  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and Shell Scripting languages with a minimum of 3+ years in data-driven projects.

  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, including experience with incremental product development and regular collaboration with business stakeholders.

  • Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.

  • Big Data Ecosystem: In-depth knowledge of big data technologies and the ability to leverage them for innovative solutions.

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying challenges and developing creative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with Qualtrics or similar survey platforms

  • Knowledge of customer experience research methodologies

  • Experience working in financial services or consumer-facing industries

  • Understanding of data governance and quality assurance best practices

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
