What You'll Do

As a Senior Product Design Supervisor in our Dynamic User Experience team, you'll be responsible for helping create zero-to-one products within innovative spaces. You'll partner with product friends, UX leadership peers, and your UX Supervisor to craft a mission and vision for the space, implement a strategy to obtain your goals, and build a team to drive change.

• Partner with your business, client, and product friends to create roadmaps and drive prioritization alignment


• Interview and empathize with users/stakeholders to understand how your products are performing


• "Walk a mile" in the shoes of your users to better understand their daily experiences and pain points


• Lead design thinking activities and enable collaborative questioning across your peers


• Remove barriers on your team's workstreams and products


• Drive experience method and innovation through oversight of the creation of business, customer, and partner product experiences


• Think holistically and systematically—about the people using our products, a cohesive design system, and end-to-end experiences


• Solve complex problems through formulating project requirements and measures of success


• Lead a dynamic design group to address the growing needs of the operation, developing top-tier skills by training, managing, and mentoring a team of designers


• Travel to other arenaflex offices to foster collaboration (approximately 20% travel)

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a design leader who believes that your success is defined by your team's success. You'll need the ability to express your design point of view and boldly advocate for your team members' designs.

• A product design portfolio that demonstrates how you design to resolve for both business requirements and consumer needs


• The ability to communicate concepts to audiences of all levels of understanding


• Inclusive design philosophy with a strong editorial sense


• Manner and culture that embraces design thinking and agile techniques


• Strong knowledge of user-centered design strategies coupled with practical experience in how a design team can collaborate cross-functionally for optimal effectiveness delivering solutions


• Understand the importance of balancing product functionality and visual design to drive value and adoption


• Ability to juggle many objectives, as a constant champion for the consumer


• Multi-channel user experience strategy and innovation with successful delivery of product roadmaps


• Understand how to achieve strategic alignment within and across the company, at all levels


• Understand the need for analysis of client behavior changes (e.g., spikes in sales revenues, traffic, abandonment, engagement)


• Ability to steer robust teams through rapidly evolving, complex demands, including multiple projects with dependencies on other internal teams


• Prototyping and designing are a breeze in Figma (but you might also be proficient with Flinto, Framer, Sketch, Principle, or similar tools)

Preferred Qualifications

While we welcome all qualified candidates, the following qualifications are preferred for this role:

• Design Certification (for example, IDEO – Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate)


• Experience using product development in a user experience role


• Master's Degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related field


• Relevant business experience (for example, retail, supply chain, e-commerce, healthcare)


• Background in UI/UX, Interactive and Visual Design, Digital Art, Multimedia Design, or related area
