Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Duolingo is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to deliver a seamless candidate experience and manage interview operations. The role involves handling logistics, communicating with candidates and interviewers, and collaborating with hiring teams.
Responsibilities
- Own interview scheduling and rescheduling across time zones and teams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a smooth flow day-of (rooms, links, AV checks)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, sharing clear logistics, answering questions, and upholding Duolingo’s brand throughout the process
- Partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, EAs, and interviewers to align on plans, resolve conflicts, and keep stakeholders informed
- Maintain system hygiene in our ATS and scheduling tools; update candidate statuses and templates with high precision
- Help identify small process improvements that increase speed, quality, and candidate care across coordination workflows
- Provide coverage and flexibility for Talent Acquisition Coordination and Operations teammates during PTO, leave(s), or spikes in demand as determined by the Talent Acquisition Operations team
Skills
- 1+ years of experience in recruiting coordination or as an executive assistant
- Experience with tools like Google Suite, Zoom, Slack, Greenhouse, and Guide (or similar ATS/scheduling tools)
- A proactive, collaborative spirit and “no task too small” mentality
- An eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in real time when handling last-minute changes or busy timelines
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with partners across all levels of the company
