Schedule Details
We understand that work-life balance is essential, which is why we offer flexible scheduling for this part-time position. The successful candidate must be available to work hours between 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday (float shift). Additionally, working one weekend day is required, with weekend hours falling between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (float shift). Please note that Black Friday is a mandatory workday for our team.
Hours will vary based on call volume, ranging from 8 to 40 hours per week, with an expected average of 16 to 20 hours per week. This flexibility allows us to match staffing with customer demand while providing you with a schedule that accommodates your personal commitments.
Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Part-Time Flexible Customer Care Representative at arenaflex, your primary responsibility is to deliver outstanding customer service while representing our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. Here's what you can expect in this role:
- Inbound Phone-Based Customer Service: Handle incoming phone calls from customers seeking information about our courses, ordering assistance, and general inquiries. Be prepared to assist customers with enthusiasm and patience, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our valued customers. Understand their learning goals and recommend appropriate courses that align with their interests and needs.
- Sales Generation: Identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and revenue through effective up-selling and cross-selling techniques. Help customers discover additional courses that complement their purchases.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints, concerns, and questions promptly and professionally. Strive to resolve issues during the first contact while maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Order Processing: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are captured correctly in our system.
- Administrative Support: Complete various administrative projects and tasks as needed to support the efficient operation of our Call Center.
- Product Expertise: Develop detailed knowledge of our course catalog, policies, and procedures to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Use this expertise to provide informed guidance and exceptional service to customers.
- Multi-Tasking: Simultaneously manage multiple computer applications and technology tools while efficiently navigating Windows-based programs such as Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Adaptability: Thrive in an environment that frequently changes policies, product offerings, and Call Center operations. Remain flexible and maintain performance standards despite ongoing updates.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Education: An Associate's degree or higher is required. Relevant coursework in communications, business, or customer relations is a plus.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of inbound, phone-based customer service and sales experience is strongly preferred. Previous experience in a call center or e-commerce environment is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Must be tech-savvy and comfortable using various technology tools and resources. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel is required, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You must be able to interact professionally with customers, clearly convey information, and accurately record details in our system.
- Customer Service Orientation: A proven track record of providing top-notch, outstanding customer service. You should be naturally empathetic, patient, and committed to ensuring customer satisfaction.
