Leidos is an industry and technology leader serving government and commercial customers, and they are seeking a Geospatial Data Analyst to support maritime safety of navigation. The role involves analyzing and transforming geographic data, maintaining schedules, and requires GIS skills, particularly with Esri ArcGIS software.
Responsibilities
- Directly supports key customer mission requirements for maritime safety of navigation
- Analyze, manipulate, convert, and transform geographic data into military specified compliance
- Maintain weekly and monthly milestone schedule requirements
- Update geodatabases in ArcMap, managing data in ArcCatalog, utilizing Product Libraries and various data editing toolbars
- Coordinate & contribute in a team environment
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1+ years of GIS experience
- No clearance required
- US Citizenship required
- GIS data conversion and cross-product schema mapping
- Esri ArcGIS software experience
- Ability to be approved for a Secret clearance
- Maritime product knowledge and QA/QC background who can demonstrate effective throughput are desired
- Experience with Electronic Navigational Chart (ENC) and/or Digital Nautical Chart (DNC)
- SQL and Python experience
