Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Strategus is a CTV-first, fully managed service partner in programmatic Connected TV advertising. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to collaborate with the sales team, research potential customers, and set sales appointments to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales team and leaders to identify qualified target customers, maintain consistent meetings with Digital Sales Directors (DSDs) on lead sharing with target accounts
- Research and use your creativity to connect with potential customers to set 10 sales appointments a month
- Outbound sales calls across a sales territory to pre-qualify opportunities with top prospects and schedule appointments for Digital Sales Directors
- Create personalized and strategic emails to quickly grab the attention of prospective clients
- Report information learned on the "front lines" from cold outreach to Sales Directors to improve prospecting efforts
- Enter and track all sales activity and new opportunities in Salesforce CRM
- Know and present Strategus Value Proposition and be knowledgeable of digital ad buying trends
- Learn and maintain knowledge of Strategus' products and services
- Achieve and report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
- Sit in on Digital Sales Director initial sales meetings, proposals, and sales calls, from appointments you set to hone your sales knowledge and skills
- Partner with an internal sales mentor with the goal of preparing and advancing you through the Strategus sales career path if this is of interest to you

- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Advertising preferred
- 1-2 years of outbound sales or customer service experience
- Experience in programmatic advertising preferred - passion to learn and grow in this industry required
- High volume prospecting experience through cold calling, email, and Linkedin outreach strongly preferred
- Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, Sales Navigator and Clay preferred
