As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist within our organization, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to help businesses harness the power of their data. You'll lead go-to-market strategies, manage campaigns, and provide critical feedback to our Product and Global Solutions teams to inform our product roadmap. You'll serve as a trusted advisor within our direct enterprise sales organization, guiding C-level executives and their leadership teams to shape their cloud and data analytics strategy and enable digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
As an Enterprise Data Analytics Sales Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth while building lasting relationships with our most important enterprise clients. Your daily activities will involve:
- Executive Relationship Building: Construct and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients as the recognized data analytics subject matter expert. You'll influence long-term strategic direction and serve as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts, ensuring client success and identifying expansion opportunities.
- Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with and manage partners in implementation projects to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet complex client requirements. You'll coordinate with system integrators, technology partners, and consulting firms to ensure seamless deployment and maximum client value.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans, including comprehensive enterprise planning across key industries. You'll focus on building and expanding accounts through careful market analysis, competitive positioning, and personalized client engagement strategies.
- Solution Positioning: Help clients identify use cases ideally suited for arenaflex Data and Analytics solutions. You'll articulate key solution differentiators and measurable business impacts, demonstrating how our platform addresses specific client challenges and delivers quantifiable ROI.
- Pipeline Development: Work closely with arenaflex account and technical teams to develop and drive sales pipeline. You'll provide expert guidance and develop Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives with arenaflex Cloud Platform partners to maximize market reach and accelerate deal cycles.
- Business Case Development: Collaborate with architects and client technical teams to construct compelling business cases and develop implementation plans. You'll translate technical capabilities into business value, helping clients understand the strategic implications of their investments.
- Deal Structure and Negotiation: Work with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams to structure and negotiate complex agreements. You'll ensure favorable contract terms while maintaining strong relationships across all stakeholder groups.
- Transformation Strategy: Assist clients in improving their productivity and harnessing the power of arenaflex products to make their organizations more efficient, collaborative, and accessible to their customers. You'll serve as a catalyst for digital transformation.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the data analytics, data warehousing, or data management software industry
- Proven experience with planning, pitching, and executing go-to-market strategies and sales campaigns
- Experience working with procurement, legal, and business teams to structure and negotiate commercial agreements
- Demonstrated ability to work with technical teams, including architects and client specialists, to develop business cases and implementation plans
- Strong understanding of the data lifecycle, including data storage, data processing and analysis, data archiving and retention, and data governance/security
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in enterprise software or cloud services
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Experience with arenaflex Cloud Data and Analytics offerings, such as BigQuery, Looker, Dataproc, or similar platforms
- Deep understanding of the data lifecycle from end to end, including modern data architecture patterns and best practices

- Experience selling to C-level executives and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
