Position Overview: HRIS Analyst, Business Process & Data

This pivotal role reports directly to the HR function and is responsible for providing functional support of our core HR platform, MyHR Connection (powered by SuccessFactors Employee Central). You will be instrumental in mass import execution, ensuring data accuracy, and identifying opportunities for system enhancement. As the primary liaison between HR and the IT Acquire to Retire team, you will play a crucial role in system design and configuration development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and demonstrate a strong ability to analyze and create solutions to complex business issues. You should have exceptional organizational and planning skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and complete assigned duties within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

HR Information Systems (60%)


  • Mass Data Imports: Execute mass data imports in the MyHR Connection system, employing mass load best practices within the target service level agreement to ensure data integrity and timely processing.

  • Business Process Ownership: Act as the business process owner for MyHR Connection, including assessment of new and existing enhancements, prioritization, communication, and change management to drive data accuracy, improve end-user experience, and support governance.

  • System Implementation Support: Provide subject matter expertise on project implementations in support of HR technology initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.

  • Data Accuracy and Audit: Review HR audit reports to ensure data is accurate, supporting data correction and root cause analysis to drive data integrity within HR systems.

  • Reporting Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for reporting questions and requirements, partnering with the Workforce Analytics Analyst for complex or new reporting needs.

  • Training and Documentation: Create and refine training materials for HR systems to support end-user experience and ensure process compliance across the organization.

  • Data Transfer Management: Engage in the data transfer process, ensuring work instructions and process files are created and shared with relevant stakeholders.

  • System Integration Support: Support data validation efforts, including daily system integrations between SuccessFactors and related systems, as well as validation in support of project work.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Consult with end users and IT partners to support business process and user experience improvements.

Continuous Improvement (40%)


  • Automation Opportunities: Identify opportunities to apply automation and data to improve business performance, including SuccessFactors, Lawson, OpenText, and other HR technologies.

  • System Configuration: In partnership with the IT ATR team, become familiar with arenaflex SuccessFactors configuration and layout to support process improvement and system enhancements.

  • Performance Enhancement: Enhance MyHR Connection (SuccessFactors) performance through business requirement gathering and data-driven decision making.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and IT to document and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Project Leadership: Offer expertise and leadership to cross-functional projects, as assigned, driving innovation and continuous improvement across the HR technology landscape.

Minimum Qualifications (Required)


  • High School degree or GED equivalent

  • Two or more years of experience in Human Resources Information Systems and/or Information Technology roles

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge with core HR systems, including SuccessFactors Employee Central

  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel with proven ability to consolidate and work with multiple data sets

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities

  • Change-oriented continuous improvement process skills

  • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner

  • Analytical capabilities, including report writing, requirements gathering, and system knowledge

  • Ability to work with large volumes of data, identifying inaccuracies, driving consistency, and maintaining root cause analysis

  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on customer service, accuracy, and timeliness

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related field

  • LEAN certification

  • Experience implementing or using case and data management systems for HR

  • SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0, Recruiting Management, or Recruit Marketing experience

  • Experience working with Dayforce payroll technology

Compensation and Benefits
