Position Overview
The Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services will be responsible for directing the execution of healthcare management services for assigned functional areas. This role is crucial in ensuring that our members receive high-quality, personalized care that meets their unique health needs. Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with diverse responsibilities that include:
- Clinical Protocol Implementation: Execute clinical procedures and practices in accordance with relevant regulatory and accreditation standards, including NCQA, URAC, state and federal regulations as applicable. You will ensure that all clinical operations maintain the highest quality standards and comply with industry best practices.
- Subject Matter Expert and Coach: Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to your team regarding practice standards, quality of interventions, issue resolution, and critical thinking. You will provide guidance and support to help team members develop their clinical expertise and problem-solving abilities.
- Best Practice Implementation: Ensure implementation and monitoring of best practice approaches and innovations to better address the population's needs across the continuum of care. You will identify opportunities for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a contact with other key business areas and collaborate effectively with inter and intra-departmental teams. You will work closely with sales staff, network teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Training and Development: May develop/aid in the development and review of new training content and collaborate/deliver inter and intra-departmental training sessions. You will contribute to building a knowledgeable and skilled team.
- Confidentiality and Compliance: Safeguard the confidentiality of population information and adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality. You will maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and ensure your team follows established protocols.
- Care Management Oversight: Manage resources responsible for identification of members, development and execution of care plans, enhancement of clinical appropriateness and quality of care, and monitoring, evaluating, and documenting of care. You will oversee the entire care management process to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Data Analysis and Improvement: Evaluate and interpret data, identify areas of improvement, and focus on interventions to improve outcomes. You will use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and implement effective strategies.
- Performance Management: Develop, initiate, evaluate, monitor, and communicate performance expectations. You will set clear goals and provide regular feedback to team members to drive performance excellence.
- System Proficiency: Ensure the team's understanding and use of information system capability and functionality. You will ensure your team effectively utilizes technology to enhance productivity and service delivery.
- Recruitment and Hiring: Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for staff using clearly defined requirements regarding education, experience, technical, and performance skills. You will help build a high-performing team.
- Team Development: Assess developmental needs and collaborate with others to identify and implement action plans that support the development of high-performing teams. You will invest in your team's growth and success.

Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Clinical Expertise: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in clinical healthcare. You should have a solid background in clinical practice and a thorough understanding of healthcare delivery systems.
- Licensure: Must have active and unrestricted RN (Registered Nurse) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) licensure in the state of home residence. Your license must be current and in good standing.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required. A strong educational foundation in healthcare, nursing, social work, or a related discipline is essential for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will strengthen your application:
- Managed Care Experience: Previous experience in Managed Medicare is highly preferred. Understanding of Medicare managed care programs and regulations will be advantageous.
- Remote Work Proficiency: Confidence working at home/self-starter, using tools to effectively collaborate and connect with teams. You should be comfortable with virtual communication and have experience working remotely.
