What You'll Do

As a key member of our Business Analytics team, you will be responsible for the following:

• Design, develop, and maintain the core data infrastructure powering our enterprise modeling, including databases, data pipelines, and server environments


• Partner closely with our data scientists and analysts to design and build robust data pipelines required for advanced modeling and predictive analytics


• Collaborate with business analysts to create optimized SQL queries that enable scalable reporting with growing data volumes


• Coordinate with the IT Business Intelligence team to validate and deploy optimized queries with business logic to our upstream DataMart


• Build and maintain local ETL processes for our specialized data science models and ad-hoc reporting requirements


• Partner with the IT BI team to enable seamless data sharing workflows between our internal database and corporate data warehouse, as well as other local databases


• Think strategically about building scalable systems that can handle growing data volumes


• Identify process gaps and areas for optimization and automation across data workflows


• Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices documentation


• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to data architecture standards

What You'll Bring

Essential Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field


• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in data architecture or a closely related field


• Technical Expertise: Mastery of relational databases, SQL, and ETL tools


• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in building, deploying, and optimizing complex data pipelines (both batch and streaming)


• Database Knowledge: Deep understanding of data architecture best practices and normalization techniques


• Programming Skills: Solid experience with Unix/Shell scripting and Python development


• Big Data Technologies: Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, and other big data frameworks
