What You'll Do: A Day in the Life
As a Front End Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex Health, you will perform order entry tasks and collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process at our closed-door pharmacy. Our front-end team is focused on entering in orders, working alongside the pharmacist to ensure accuracy, and providing best-in-class customer service. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Customer Service Triage: Efficiently triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and the specific information or response required to resolve each inquiry professionally and promptly.
- Prescription Processing: Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions to ensure patient safety and medication efficacy.
- Narcotic Documentation: Assisting in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure they are processed back in a timely manner, maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Clinical Collaboration: Providing the dispensing pharmacist with critical information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other clinical alerts that the computer system flags.
- Record Management: Creating and maintaining accurate customer records with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all patient information is current and properly documented.
- Quality Assurance: Supporting overall quality assurance initiatives and participating in continuous improvement efforts to enhance pharmacy operations.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and other team members to ensure seamless workflow and optimal patient care.

What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Current certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician as required by state law.
- One (1) or more years of experience working as a pharmacy technician.
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of data entry and prescription processing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications and experience would be highly valued:
