About the Role: Senior Data Analyst – Global Operations & Supply Chain Analytics

As a Senior Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming our network of thousands of individual merchant organizations into a seamless, high-performing operations ecosystem. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of business strategy, process optimization, data science, and technology implementation.

Our technology partners are developing cutting-edge tools that our providers will use to execute high-value operational activities. Your expertise will be crucial in determining the right technologies and ensuring we've built the right tools that address our providers' evolving needs. These improvements will benefit both arenaflex and our provider partners, enabling more efficient fulfillment, communication, reporting, product availability, and enhanced transparency throughout our global supply chain.

Within this group, you'll have the unique opportunity to combine business knowledge, process optimization, and data science with data engineering and visualization tools to deliver the right solutions for critical business challenges. What You'll Do

• Drive Statistical and Analytical Innovation: Develop statistical and analytical models to support cross-functional initiatives that span multiple business units and geographic regions.


• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with Data Solutions, Data Visualization, and other stakeholders to ensure flexible and scalable rollout of recommendations and solutions.


• Advanced Data Engineering: Apply data engineering and data science methodologies to bring solutions for difficult questions into scope, from initial concept to implementation.


• Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the go-to authority for data, analysis, and visualization within the Global Operations or Supply Chain organization, ensuring accurate and appropriate interpretation of core business metrics and consumer behavior patterns.


• Provider Network Enhancement: Support broad improvement initiatives spanning thousands of providers to enhance efficiency and visibility across the supply chain for our provider partners.


• Performance Analysis: Analyze key performance metrics to identify root causes of performance issues and drive meaningful change across operations.


• Executive Communication: Consistently communicate performance trends and improvements to senior management and leadership, translating complex data into actionable business insights.


• End-to-End Project Ownership: Experience in delivering successful projects from start to finish, on time and within scope.

What You'll Need

We're seeking candidates with a strong academic background and practical experience in quantitative analysis. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills.

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, Management, Social Sciences, or other quantitative discipline with a strong academic record.


• Quantitative Experience: Experience in a quantitative, business intelligence, data science, or engineering role performing quantitative analysis is strongly preferred.


• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience conducting quantitative analyses on large datasets; proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.) and structured programming languages (Python, R).


• Database Expertise: Proficient knowledge of SQL (TSQL, Google BigQuery, and Vertica including aggregate functions, joins, etc.).


• Visualization Skills: Experience with various Data Visualization Tools (Tableau/Looker/DataStudio) is a plus.


• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.


• Mindset: Solution-oriented, collaborative, and curious approach to problem-solving.


• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication with a collaborative, highly cooperative disposition.


• Project Management: Proven track record of delivering successful projects end-to-end on time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Master's or PhD).


• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies.


• Background in supply chain management, logistics, or operations research.


• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their practical applications.
