When you join arenaflex, you're joining a company that cares deeply about its people, its communities, and its environmental footprint.

About the Role

As a Packaging Strategy Lead specializing in data management, you'll play a critical role in driving packaging innovation and optimization across all of arenaflex's owned brand businesses. This position offers a unique blend of strategic thinking, data analysis, and cross-functional leadership. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports packaging design, development, and sustainability initiatives.

In this role, you'll work closely with teams across the organization—including product design, sourcing, supply chain, marketing, store operations, and compliance—to establish data standards, taxonomies, and best practices that ensure packaging excellence. Your work will directly impact arenaflex's ability to deliver packaging that delights our guests, supports our sustainability goals, and maintains our competitive edge in the marketplace.

What You'll Do

As a Packaging Strategy Lead at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

  • Building Data Infrastructure: Develop and maintain essential data requirements, taxonomy structures, and specifications that support packaging design optimization and sustainability initiatives across all owned brand categories.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Consult with sourcing, design, store operations, marketing, supply chain, properties, and compliance teams to establish relevant data requirements and flexible standards that reflect our commitment to safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
  • Process Management: Create and administer change management processes to ensure accurate packaging documentation portfolios across multiple systems and partner teams.
  • Training & Communication: Develop, manage, and execute innovative training programs and creative communications for both internal and external audiences, driving comprehensive understanding of standards, specifications, and data accuracy best practices.
  • Solution Evaluation: Evaluate data requirements, standards, and specifications to optimize safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that align with industry standards, improve engineering practices, and maintain our leadership position.
  • Team Support: Provide support and guidance to cross-functional teams and colleagues to ensure proper interpretation and execution of packaging data requirements, standards, and specifications.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Consult with appropriate internal regulatory and compliance experts, identifying impacts on current data requirements and standards, and taking action to mitigate risks while identifying opportunities for innovation.
  • Global Partnership: Work with cross-functional global partners to drive effective communication and roadshows around packaging development, compliance, and data accuracy best practices.
  • Data Analysis: Use data to identify trends or issues, in partnership with technology teams, to measure the effectiveness of training delivered and communications sent.
  • Industry Intelligence: Investigate industry trends and assess arenaflex's comparative data and standards practices, sharing insights and recommendations with appropriate audiences for improvement and compliance.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Provide leadership and guidance to others, driving effectiveness and efficiency in team results. Create and maintain a positive team culture by demonstrating behaviors consistent with arenaflex's values of inclusivity, connection, and drive.
