Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chat Moderator to join our community management team on a part-time, remote basis. You will be responsible for ensuring that our Discord server remains a safe, welcoming, and rule-abiding environment for all members. Key Responsibilities

Message Management: Remove or delete messages that contravene our Discord server's established rules and policies. Ensure that all deletions are documented appropriately and handled consistently.

User Account Actions: Apply appropriate disciplinary measures including temporary or permanent bans for users who accumulate multiple violations. Implement muting protocols for users who violate rules but may not warrant complete removal from the community.

Investigation and Resolution: Thoroughly investigate reports submitted by community members regarding potential rule violations. Gather relevant information, evaluate evidence, and determine appropriate responses in accordance with established guidelines.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all moderation actions taken, including warnings issued, messages deleted, and disciplinary measures applied. Generate reports as needed for team review and quality assurance.
