In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data pipelines, datasets, and ETL processes that power our advertising technology. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure. Here's what you'll be doing:

Design and Build Robust Data Pipelines: Create and maintain flexible, scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing high-volume data to support advertising on arenaflex.com and its subsidiaries.

Cloud Platform Expertise: Work on cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform for data storage, processing, and analysis.

Containerized Applications: Design and deploy large-scale, containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in public cloud environments including Google GCP and Microsoft Azure.

ETL Process Management: Develop and maintain efficient ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow between systems.

Database Design: Design and implement data models for efficient storage and retrieval across various database technologies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other Scrum teams, QA, Product, Program Management, and Partner Operations while working alongside cross-functional enterprise development teams.

On-Call Support: Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to investigate production issues across cross-functional teams.

Data Quality Assurance: Collaborate with different teams within arenaflex to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability for analysis and reporting.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving existing processes, tools, and systems to achieve high scale and productivity.

Essential Qualifications:

Data Engineering Expertise: Demonstrated aptitude in data engineering concepts, database design, ETL processes, and data mining.

Programming Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Flash, Scala, Hadoop, and related technologies and tools.

ETL Tools Experience: Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Apache Airflow.

Database Skills: Strong abilities working with relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL) and NoSQL databases (such as Cassandra).

Stream Processing: Experience with real-time text processing using Apache Kafka.

Data Modeling: Experience designing and implementing data models for efficient storage and retrieval.

Container Technologies: Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.

Cloud Services: Experience with cloud computing services like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure, as well as distributed storage systems like Hive and Elasticsearch.
