Entry Level Electrical Engineer - Portland, Oregon

PAE is an engineering and design firm focused on creating resilient and efficient buildings and communities. They are seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to develop proficiency in electrical system design and provide task-based support for various engineering systems while learning from project team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of electrical system design, modeling and documentation
• Develop proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD as design/drafting tools
• Grow in the ability to read plans
• Provide task-based support for engineering distribution, lighting, power, and technology systems
• Develop an understanding of specifications, building codes and electrical industry standards
• Complete assigned work with instruction from project team members
• Model distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit and Arc Flash Energy using Easy Power
• Perform electrical load calculations
• Research codes and undertake code compliance analysis
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering for discipline work
• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or ability to obtain
• Internship experience preferred
