What You'll Do in This Role

As our Director of Identity and Access Management, you'll lead the Identity Governance and Administration team within our broader Information Security function. This is a high-impact position that requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership. You'll be responsible for:


  • Strategic Leadership: Define and communicate the vision for Identity and Access Management across the organization, ensuring that arenaflex continues to enforce least-privilege access principles while enabling business innovation.

  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Security Analysts, Managers, and Specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and high performance.

  • Data-Driven Security: Direct your team in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources to uncover meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for improving IAM controls.

  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the continued effectiveness of critical IAM processes, including access reviews, certification campaigns, and user termination workflows.

  • Process Innovation: Identify opportunities to reduce friction and enhance efficiency by designing solutions that proactively minimize the need for manual intervention in identity lifecycle management.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Information Security to integrate IAM controls into a comprehensive defense-in-depth strategy that protects our customers, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Executive Communication: Simplify complex technical details into clear findings and recommendations that can be understood and acted upon by senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience that demonstrates equivalent expertise.

  • Minimum of 3 years in a role primarily focused on Information Security, with deep exposure to identity and access management concepts and practices.

  • Minimum of 3 years in a direct leadership position with a proven track record of developing, coaching, and advancing team members' careers.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Identity and Access Management lifecycles, including the associated risks, vulnerabilities, and best practices for mitigating threats.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with particular emphasis on leading teams to develop these critical skills.

  • Demonstrated success in recruiting, retaining, and growing security talent while fostering employee engagement and leadership development.

  • Ability to thrive in a technically complex, rapidly evolving environment and respond calmly and judiciously to changing requirements in deadline-driven situations.

  • Executive presence with the ability to translate intricate technical details into concise, actionable recommendations for stakeholder adoption.

  • Understanding of the regulatory and audit landscape governing financial institutions, including familiarity with compliance requirements and frameworks.

  • Hands-on experience with risk management frameworks such as NIST and regulatory standards including PCI DSS.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).

  • Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications that demonstrate expertise in operational efficiency and data-driven decision making.

  • Experience implementing identity governance solutions across large, complex enterprise environments.

  • Familiarity with emerging identity standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and zero-trust architecture principles.

Compensation and Benefits
