Position Overview: Strategy & Analytics Consultant

As a Strategy & Analytics Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in helping arenaflex deliver on our purpose of connecting people to what's important in their lives. You'll be responsible for conducting research and analysis that drives our understanding of operations and provides the insights needed to enhance, improve, and optimize performance across the organization. This role demands a unique blend of analytical prowess, technical expertise, and business acumen.

You'll apply your analytical and technical skills, along with your deep understanding of our business operations and data, to influence decision-making and solve complex business challenges. Your ability to visualize cohesive strategies that can be implemented across multiple teams will be crucial to your success in this role. You'll work closely with senior leadership, providing them with the data-driven insights they need to make informed strategic decisions.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus, offering the perfect balance between collaborative in-person work and the flexibility to manage your schedule effectively. Key Responsibilities

As a Strategy & Analytics Consultant at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

• Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of industry trends, supporting the development of new strategies, methodologies, tools, and reports that drive business improvement.


• Data Enhancement: Collaborate with various business units to understand, improve, and share available data tools and resources across the organization, ensuring data quality and accessibility.


• Technical Expertise: Leverage advanced technology skills including SQL, Alteryx, Python, R, Tableau, and Big Data Concepts to develop solutions for complex business requests and challenges.


• Insight Transformation: Transform raw data into easily understood, presentable, and actionable findings that drive strategic decision-making at all levels of the organization.


• Model Development: Participate in the development and improvement of analytical models and strategies, including supporting their implementation across the organization.


• Technical Guidance: Facilitate and share technical guidance on concepts and topics to teams throughout the organization, building analytical capabilities across the enterprise.


• Optimization Analysis: Conduct analysis using optimization and other available tools to create and examine scenarios that provide insights into how different business units perform.


• Data Governance: Utilize appropriate data management practices that comply with privacy standards and ensure the security of sensitive information.


• Leadership Support: Prepare and present findings to Senior Leadership, effectively communicating complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.


• Ad-hoc Projects: Perform various strategic duties as directed by organizational leadership, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science is strongly preferred.


• Experience: Advanced level experience with specialized knowledge in Network Planning, Airline Operations, or similar operational environments.


• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SQL (Oracle, Teradata, PostgreSQL) and experience with data manipulation tools such as Alteryx.


• Visualization Skills: Proficiency in Tableau or other data visualization software to create compelling visual representations of complex data.


• Microsoft Office: Expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create sophisticated spreadsheets and presentations.


• Leadership Experience: Proven experience presenting to and influencing Senior Leaders.


• Work Authorization: U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Unfortunately, we cannot provide sponsorship for work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would make you an ideal candidate:

• Advanced degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field


• Experience in the transportation, aviation, or logistics industry


• Knowledge of arenaflex operations and business model


• Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling


• Strong presentation skills with experience presenting to executive-level audiences
