Position Overview
As a Customer Success Specialist (CSS) at arenaflex, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers using our client's cutting-edge food ordering application. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction, resolving inquiries, and maintaining the stellar reputation of our client's brand.
You will handle customer interactions through both inbound and outbound phone calls, providing comprehensive support for order placement, payment processing, and general inquiries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to navigate conversations professionally and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of the arenaflex customer success team, your responsibilities will include:
- Customer Order Assistance: Guide customers through the entire online ordering process, helping them navigate the food ordering app, select menu items, customize orders, and complete their purchases successfully.
- Phone-based Support: Handle incoming customer calls promptly and professionally, as well as conduct outbound calls for follow-ups, satisfaction surveys, and issue resolution.
- Payment Processing: Assist customers with secure payment transactions, address billing concerns, and ensure all financial interactions are handled with the utmost confidentiality and accuracy.
- Proactive Customer Engagement: Anticipate customer needs, provide proactive support, and offer personalized recommendations to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Brand Reputation Management: Represent arenaflex and our client brand professionally in every interaction, maintaining positive relationships and building customer loyalty.
- Priority Issue Escalation: Identify high-priority issues and escalate them appropriately to ensure timely resolution and prevent any negative impact on customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and cross-functional departments to share insights, contribute to process improvements, and achieve collective goals.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain and continuously improve service quality by adhering to established protocols, participating in quality checks, and implementing feedback received from supervisors.
- Documentation: Accurately document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the CRM system to ensure comprehensive records and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on app features, menu offerings, promotions, and policies to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in any field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Language Proficiency:
- Mandarin: Native or near-native proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading
- English: B2 level proficiency or equivalent (according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
- Customer Support Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in customer support roles. Call center experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Work Schedule and Environment
This position requires working during nighttime hours to support our client's customer base:
- Location: Georgetown, Penang (Onsite)
- Working Hours: 12:00 AM to 11:00 AM (next day)
- Schedule: 5 days per week (with 1-hour break included)
- Shift Type: Full-time with rotational shifts
- Working Days: Monday to Sunday
