About This Role
As a Customer Advocate Phone Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the frontline representative of our organization, serving as the crucial link between our members and the healthcare services they deserve. In this dynamic customer care position, you will handle inbound phone inquiries from members seeking guidance on their health insurance benefits, coverage questions, claims information, and a wide range of other healthcare-related topics.

Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility as a Customer Advocate Phone Specialist will be to deliver outstanding customer support through telephone and written correspondence. The following are the core duties you will perform:
- Respond to Customer Inquiries: Handle inbound phone calls from arenaflex members, identifying, researching, processing, resolving, and responding to questions regarding their healthcare coverage and benefits.
- Provide Detailed Information: Clarify and explain contract benefits, changes in coverage, eligibility requirements, claims status, arenaflex programs, and provider network information to customers with patience and accuracy.
- Document Interactions: Maintain detailed records of all customer inquiries and correspondence by updating arenaflex files and systems with accurate information.
- Meet Performance Standards: Achieve individual and department performance goals related to quality, quantity, and timeliness of customer interactions.
- Coordinate with Departments: Consult and collaborate with internal departments, external plans, providers, businesses, and government agencies to obtain information and ensure comprehensive resolution of customer inquiries.
- Maintain Knowledge: Demonstrate and maintain current working knowledge of arenaflex systems, procedures, forms, and manuals to provide accurate information.
- Navigate Multiple Systems: Utilize various system applications to gather, input, and maintain data records efficiently and accurately.
- Compose Correspondence: Draft and dictate professional business correspondence as needed to address customer needs.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in claims examination, health insurance, customer service, call center, medical office, or other healthcare-related field.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency with personal computers and various software applications.
- Residency: Must reside in the State of Arizona and be able to perform work within Arizona boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits
