The role involves supporting requirements definition and implementation, MBSE standards, and architecture modeling for Integrated Combat Systems, with an emphasis on software-enabled MBSE workflows.
Responsibilities
- Support requirements definition and implementation, MBSE standards definition and implementation, and physical and logical architecture modeling for the ICS
- Support the intersection of systems engineering and software engineering, including toolchain support and model-driven engineering tasks
- Perform routine engineering design tasks using standard techniques and assist senior engineers in the preparation of plans, designs, computational methods, and reports
Skills
- 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Foundational knowledge of MBSE methods, systems architecture, and requirements management in support of complex defense systems
- Experience supporting requirements definition, implementation, and traceability within an MBSE environment
- Ability to develop and maintain physical and logical architecture models for Integrated Combat Systems or similarly complex systems
- Experience with Cameo for model creation, organization, analysis, and collaboration across systems and software stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Java and MBSE plugin development to improve tool functionality, model workflows, automation, or integration
- Ability to support the intersection of systems engineering and software engineering, including toolchain support and model-driven engineering tasks
- Ability to perform routine engineering design tasks using standard techniques and to assist senior engineers in the preparation of plans, designs, computational methods, and reports
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively across systems, software, and customer teams
