Position Overview: Senior Data Analyst

We are currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst to provide data-driven answers to complex business challenges and deliver insights that illuminate arenaflex's provider advertising strategies. This role is both challenging and highly impactful, serving as a critical resource for senior leadership when making key strategic decisions. You will gain significant exposure to executive teams and have the chance to work with diverse cross-functional partners across Business and Innovation organizations.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of thinking on their feet to address ambiguous issues with creativity and precision. You should have a proven track record with technical tools and processes through data analysis, data visualization, or similar experience. What You Will Do

As a Senior Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into strategic insights that drive business growth. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conduct Thorough Investigations: Perform deep-dive analyses into complex business problems, producing data-driven, strategic insights and developing high-impact solutions that address key challenges facing the organization.


• Communicate Results Effectively: Present your findings with clarity and compelling observations to partners and senior management, ensuring your insights are understood and can be effectively utilized to drive product strategy and business decisions.


• Build Self-Service Tools: Create, distribute, and maintain flexible self-service tools and dashboards that align with broader departmental goals, enabling cross-functional partners to access data independently and identify meaningful insights on their own.


• Collaborate Across Teams: Act as a thought partner with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to identify areas of opportunity, define and implement tracking designs for the toolset, and influence prioritization decisions with solid data-backed recommendations.


• Mentor and Develop Others: Coach departmental colleagues on analytical best practices, technical skills, and innovations in our company's data architecture, helping to elevate the overall analytical capabilities of the team.


• Drive Strategic Initiatives: Work closely with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives, provide ongoing analytical support for key business projects, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

What You Will Need

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, or another quantitatively and technically rigorous field is required.


• Professional Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of work experience in a relevant field, ideally in business analysis, strategy, startup/tech environments, and/or marketing.


• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.


• Communication Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor your communication style based on your audience—from technical teams to executive stakeholders.


• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using data from multiple large-scale sources to solve complex problems, tell compelling data stories, and impact overall business strategy.


• Tool Expertise: Proficient knowledge of SQL/Eden, Google Cloud Platform, and Excel/Google Sheets is required. Experience with visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Looker, or similar platforms is essential.


• Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Python/Git is preferred but not required—we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow their technical skillset.
