This is a high-impact role where your expertise will directly influence the success of our supply chain and the satisfaction of millions of customers.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Analyst, Specialty Compliance and Ethics – Direct Imports, you will serve as the subject matter expert for U.S. import regulations, documentation, and compliance matters. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring that arenaflex maintains its reputation as a responsible global corporate citizen while avoiding costly delays, penalties, or regulatory issues.
Here's what your daily responsibilities will look like:
- Ensure Compliance with U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agencies: You will be responsible for verifying that all Direct Import products entering the United States comply with U.S. Customs regulations and requirements from cooperating government agencies. This includes assigning appropriate harmonized tariff codes and calculating duty percentages accurately to minimize risk and optimize cost-efficiency.
- Documentation Management and Oversight: You will identify and compile all required documentation to ensure that every product is legally permissible for import into the United States. Your attention to detail will prevent shipments from being delayed or rejected at customs, ensuring smooth operations across our global supply chain.
- Global Regulatory Compliance: Working closely with international customs and regulatory authorities, you will ensure that arenaflex's import activities align with all applicable international trade laws, regulations, and best practices. Your expertise will help navigate complex regulatory environments across multiple countries.
- Policy Development and Maintenance: You will create, implement, and maintain robust compliance policies and procedures that ensure legal application to affected products and purchase orders. Your work will establish standards that the entire Direct Imports team will follow.
- Regulatory Research and Advisory: Stay ahead of changing regulations by researching proposed regulatory rules and existing guidelines. You will act as the subject matter expert (SME) to the business, providing guidance on how new regulations might impact our operations and recommending proactive strategies.
- Vendor and Sourcing Support: Provide expert guidance to vendors and global sourcing teams to support accurate costing decisions. Your knowledge of import regulations, tariffs, and duties will help our partners make informed decisions that benefit both their businesses and arenaflex.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Work alongside senior leadership to identify compliance and ethics gaps within the Direct Imports function. You will recommend and develop improvements that enhance our compliance posture, reduce risk, and drive operational excellence.
