Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Paid Media Analyst & Business Intelligence Specialist to join our growing marketing analytics team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for supporting our paid media research capabilities to surface data-driven strategic opportunities for the Executive Leadership team. Your work will focus on optimizing our paid media spend globally, identifying efficiency improvements, and developing comprehensive reporting frameworks that drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Analytics & Reporting: Deliver high-quality reporting and insights in the paid media space, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into campaign performance, ROI, and optimization opportunities.
- BI Development: Plan and lead the development of analytics, business intelligence, and data science initiatives aimed at enhancing measurable paid media outcomes and improving marketing efficiencies.
- Media Mix Modeling: Collaborate with the paid media data science team and marketing teams to implement sophisticated media mix models that optimize budget allocation across channels.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct custom analysis through database querying, followed by insightful interpretation of results and the design and communication of recommendations that drive measurable action.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as a trusted partner with Marketing, Finance, and Data Product teams to tackle complex business challenges and track marketing and product performance using a data-driven methodology.
- Tool Utilization: Leverage SQL, MicroStrategy, Tableau, QuickSight, PowerBI, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports that meet evolving business needs.
- Root Cause Analysis: Analyze data to identify business issues and conduct deep-dive investigations to perform root cause analysis, providing clear explanations and actionable recommendations.
- Insight Generation: Collaborate with internal and external partners to utilize data from multiple sources, including internal platforms and third-party market research, to address complex business challenges and deliver relevant insights.
- Customer Insights: Conceptualize and execute research that generates insights on customer behavior and needs, supporting the continuous development and improvement of our value proposition.
Essential Qualifications
- Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting within an e-commerce environment or related industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced SQL experience is required, with the ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and work with large datasets.
- Visualization Expertise: Advanced proficiency in at least one industry-leading analytics and statistics visualization tool such as Tableau, QuickSight, or PowerBI.
- Excel Mastery: Expert-level Excel skills with a proven track record of creating sophisticated models, pivot tables, and data visualizations.
- Educational Background: Degree in Data Science, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or another related quantitative field.
