Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Remote Data Scientist to apply statistical evaluation tools and techniques to provide insights and actionable recommendations for the enterprise. In this role, you will use statistical modeling to make predictions about future outcomes across multiple scenarios, ultimately enhancing our products and processes. Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize statistical analysis tools and techniques to provide meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for the business. You will work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that can drive strategic decisions.
- Statistical Modeling and Prediction: Develop and apply statistical models to predict future outcomes across various scenarios. This includes building predictive models that help arenaflex anticipate market trends, customer behaviors, and operational challenges.
- Business Communication: Present and explain your analytical findings to business audiences in a clear, compelling manner. Translate complex statistical concepts into business-friendly language that drives action and understanding.
- Statistical and Mathematical Analysis: Execute statistical and mathematical analyses to support enterprise decision-making across multiple business functions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex business challenges.
- Algorithm Development: Use algorithms and statistical predictive models to identify analytical methods and modeling techniques that assess scenarios and potential future results. Participate in determining the most effective approaches for each business challenge.
- Advanced Data Analysis: Apply analytical rigor and statistical methods to analyze large volumes of data using advanced techniques including predictive statistical models, customer profiling, segmentation analysis, survey design and analysis, and data mining.
- Hypothesis Testing: Develop tests and validate hypotheses through the application of advanced mathematical, statistical, scientific, and computational methods, including probability models, machine learning, data mining, pattern recognition, data visualization, predictive analytics, data warehousing, artificial intelligence, and other complex techniques.
- Documentation: Document assigned aspects of projects including business objectives, data gathering and processing, main methods, final algorithms, detailed sets of results, and analytical metrics. Maintain thorough records that support future analysis and knowledge sharing.
- Presentation Materials: Assist with developing materials to explain project findings to internal stakeholders. Create visualizations and reports that effectively communicate analytical results.
- Collaboration and Escalation: Escalate issues and roadblocks as they occur to ensure timely resolution. Interact with team members and peers, and engage with external partners to provide semi-regular data related to assigned tasks.
- Client Presentation: Prepare and present interpretations of findings to internal clients, demonstrating the business value of analytical insights.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits
