Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy robust applications and services within our cloud-native infrastructure. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in modern software development practices to build scalable solutions that support arenaflex's mission-critical operations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, participate in code reviews, and contribute to our continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Development: Design and implement end-to-end cloud solutions on platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
- Backend Development: Build robust backend services using Java or Spring Boot frameworks, adhering to best practices for code quality, security, and maintainability.
- Frontend Development: Create intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React or Angular, following creative design specifications and ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Develop and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes or comparable orchestration systems, implementing efficient deployment strategies.
- Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, write complex SQL queries, and work with relational databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines to streamline development workflows and ensure rapid, reliable releases.
- Agile Collaboration: Work effectively within cross-functional Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives while managing product backlogs and sprint velocities.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and lead projects or initiatives to successful completion.
- Real-Time Systems: Develop and operationalize solutions for near real-time, high-volume streaming scenarios, ensuring data integrity and low-latency processing.
- Troubleshooting & Research: Investigate complex technical issues, conduct deeper research, and develop innovative solutions to challenging problems.
- Code-Level Development: Maintain hands-on involvement in writing, reviewing, and debugging code, with the ability to assist in resolving difficult-to-diagnose issues.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Equivalent formal education or relevant work experience will also be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in information technology or a software engineering environment. An advanced degree may offset some of the experience requirements.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience building end-to-end solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Backend Skills: Hands-on experience with backend development using Java or Spring Boot.
