Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced and client-focused individual who wants to join our Logistics and Operations team at arenaflex. As a Senior RME Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities by leading a team of maintenance professionals, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

This leadership position requires someone who can effectively manage multi-trade teams, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with safety standards while maintaining optimal equipment performance. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical facility systems, including power distribution, automated material handling equipment, conveyors, and other operational machinery.

Key Job Responsibilities


As a Senior RME Technician at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with diverse responsibilities that are essential to our operational success. Your daily activities will include:


  • Team Leadership: Oversee and lead a team of Maintenance Technicians by providing guidance, direction, and mentorship to help them achieve their professional goals and objectives. You will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

  • Preventive Maintenance Programs: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs to ensure equipment reliability and longevity. This includes creating compliance programs and managing both internal and contractor maintenance activities.

  • Safety Leadership: Act as an ambassador for safety within your team and promote safe working practices across the entire site. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

  • Inventory and Procurement Management: Manage maintenance-related purchase orders to maximize smooth facility operations. Control critical spare parts and store inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for all maintenance activities.

  • System Installation and Troubleshooting: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all facility systems, including power distribution networks, automated material handling equipment, conveyor systems, and any other operational machinery.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization. This includes regular participation in site leadership meetings and control panels to ensure alignment and effective communication.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving system efficiency and functionality. Recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational performance.

  • Compliance Management: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.

  • Leading your team to ensure everyone has the equipment they need and that all machinery is running properly. This includes monitoring processes to ensure guidelines and procedures are followed meticulously.

This role is based at one of our operational sites in Maharashtra. You will work shift schedules, which may include weekends and nights, to ensure continuous operations and coverage.

Essential Qualifications


To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:


  • Technical Certification: Formal trade certification as a Mechanical Fitter/Turner, or a current Electrical A-Grade license is required.

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multi-trade teams within a fast-paced assembly or distribution center environment. You should have a proven track record of leading technical teams to success.

  • Industry Experience: Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments is essential. Familiarity with industrial machinery and automated systems is highly valued.

  • Multitasking and Prioritization: Strong demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize a wide range of projects and responsibilities effectively. You must be comfortable managing competing demands in a dynamic environment.

  • CMMS Experience: Hands-on experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to plan proactive maintenance and record responsive tasks is required.

  • Contractor Management: Experience in managing contractors and external vendors to ensure quality and timely service delivery.

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) based control systems and legal compliance requirements.
