About The Role
As a Customer Operations Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the review and processing of both financial and non-financial activities related to our active Deferred Annuity products. This includes processing withdrawals, managing transfers, and setting up repetitive payment schedules for our valued policyholders. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will ensure that every transaction is completed correctly, protecting both our customers and our organization.
In this role, you will serve as a vital point of contact for external customers and insurance agents. You will communicate professionally via telephone and written correspondence to obtain the necessary information required to process requested transactions. Your ability to build rapport, listen actively, and provide clear explanations will be essential in delivering the exceptional service that defines the arenaflex customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process financial and non-financial activities into administrative systems with precision and accuracy
- Prepare and key checks and wires for customer disbursements
- Communicate professionally with external customers and agents via telephone and written correspondence
- Obtain necessary information to process requested transactions efficiently
- Maintain comprehensive understanding of federal and municipal tax regulations affecting annuity transactions
- Differentiate between IRA and Non-Qualified (NQ) accounts and understand how various client requests may trigger taxable events
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the different products administered by our department
- Maintain a strong attention to detail in all aspects of processing
- Exhibit a deep commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Remain process-oriented while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

Essential Qualifications
- Considerable knowledge of financial operations typically obtained through job-related training and experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Previous experience in customer service, financial services, or insurance operations is highly desirable
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Deferred Annuity products or similar financial instruments
- Knowledge of IRA and Non-Qualified account regulations
- Familiarity with federal and municipal tax regulations as they apply to annuity distributions
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment

Compensation and Benefits
We believe in recognizing our employees' contributions with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. The hourly salary range for this position is $21.00 – $31.96, and you will also be eligible to participate in our annual bonus program, which rewards exceptional performance.
