Position Overview: Senior Real Estate Data Analyst

This Senior Real Estate Data Analyst role helps fulfill our Purpose by undertaking comprehensive analysis of airport and Corporate Campus locations to provide insights based on real estate data reporting. You will function as a subject matter expert for both internal and external customers, including but not limited to Corporate Facilities, Airport Affairs, and Real Estate workgroups.

As a Senior Real Estate Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will join a dynamic team that values analytical excellence, innovative thinking, and collaborative problem-solving. You'll play a critical role in shaping strategic decisions that impact our operational efficiency and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Real Estate Data Analyst, you will be responsible for driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. Your primary duties will include:


  • Lead data analysis initiatives: Drive efforts with data analysis, reports, and implement tactics to improve the productivity and accuracy of reporting across all real estate related functions.
  • Process and equipment development: Aid in the development of new processes, equipment, and reports to support enhanced performance of Real Estate, Airport Affairs, and Corporate Facilities teams.
  • Cost optimization analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to drive cost improvements based on airport rent allotments and station staffing models, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Data management and presentation: Collect and manage raw data into easily understandable, presentable, and actionable findings suitable for presentation across all levels of Leadership, from team managers to executive stakeholders.
  • Analytical toolset management: Drive solutions and provide recommendations about the Real Estate analytical toolset while maintaining and enhancing its functionality.
  • Content control and workflow optimization: Maintain and enhance the Real Estate analytical toolset, including defining content management systems, workflows, and templates, and determining on-site access permissions.
  • Leadership support: Assist Leadership with data gathering, analysis, and reporting related to department-driven metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Data visualization and interpretation: Use analytics data preparation and data visualization tools to acquire and understand large, complex datasets surrounding Company industrial and operational performance.
  • Team collaboration: Work in a cooperative spirit, mentoring teammates and partnering with other Company data teams to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Problem anticipation and resolution: Anticipate problems and communicate solutions in a timely manner, demonstrating proactive issue management.
  • Training and enablement: Provide training to internal customers on reporting tools, groups, and methodologies to enhance data literacy across the organization.
  • Additional duties: May perform other job responsibilities as directed by Leadership, maintaining flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:


  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical proficiency: Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, financial monitoring, resource modeling, and maintenance practices.
  • Microsoft Office expertise: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including robust Excel experience (pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions, complex formulas, data analysis features), MS Access (database queries, data management), and PowerPoint for presentation creation.
  • Data handling skills: Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data, including turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
  • Analytical thinking: Skilled in enhancing existing data solutions while balancing assigned work and ad-hoc requests in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Problem-solving capabilities: Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or processes to address complex problems.
  • Technical planning: Ability to analyze design techniques, tools, and standards involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Statistical analysis: Ability to apply various methodologies and high-level statistical concepts to discover new insights or conventional metrics that drive business value.
  • Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate information (written, verbal, and visual) with all levels of the Company, including Senior Leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Database expertise: Ability to collect data using both SQL and data transformation tools such as Alteryx for comprehensive data analysis.
  • Trend analysis: Ability to identify and analyze trends in large sets of data to uncover patterns and opportunities for optimization.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Initiative and creativity: Ability to initiate projects, perform responsibilities, respond to inquiries, and develop innovative approaches to solve problems without direction or supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:


  • Prior experience with data analysis, reporting, and data modeling in a professional setting.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, and/or Python for advanced data manipulation and visualization.
  • Experience in the aviation, transportation, or real estate industry.
  • Advanced degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Real Estate, or a related field.
