The National Hockey League (NHL) is the premier professional ice hockey league in the world. They are seeking a Royalty Analyst to process royalty statements, review results, and communicate with licensees regarding reporting discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Processing statements in the royalty system
- Reviewing royalties reported for assigned licensees
- Analyzing revenue generated from royalty statement processing and the resulting receivable
- Reviewing and applying cash received from licensees against outstanding receivables
- Communicate with licensees regarding their royalty reporting, outstanding payments, and any related issues that arise
- Assisting with the preparation of royalty reporting templates for licensees based on licensee’s contractual terms
- Assist with testing new releases of the royalty system, as needed
- Ad hoc special projects
Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and able to solve problems
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Take initiative and develop creative solutions to issues
- Experience with consumer products licensing and RightsLogic's IP rights management software a plus
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree, Accounting or Finance degrees are a plus
