The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for recruiting talented Sales Associates across the Maryland and Virginia regions, collaborating with management to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates and managing various office-related staffing functions.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identifying and engaging potential sales candidates through cold calls, networking, and industry events
- Building relationships with local real estate schools and attending career fairs and seminars to promote careers at Weichert
- Conducting in-person interviews and presenting the benefits of working at Weichert to prospective candidates
- Developing and implementing creative recruiting strategies to increase lead flow and candidate pipeline, utilizing company-branded tools and best practices
- Managing leads through internal systems, tracking progress, and providing regular reports to management
- Collaborating with regional leadership, sales managers, and the Career Development team to align recruiting efforts with regional needs
- Marketing the company locally to enhance its image and attract top talent, negotiating compensation packages, and supporting onboarding processes
- Attending industry events and maintaining a positive presence within the local real estate community to support ongoing recruitment efforts
Skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1.5 years of recruiting experience or strong sales/management experience involving hiring and team building
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in sourcing candidates through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Work independently
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools effectively
- Basic math skills
- Familiarity with office equipment
- Strategic mindset for innovative recruiting methods
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of securing appointments and meeting recruitment targets, including a minimum of 48 new and experienced Sales Associates annually
