They are seeking a Sales Development Representative who will focus on market vertical development, strategic prospecting, and pipeline management within the Food & Beverage segment, contributing to long-term revenue growth.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute vertical-specific market development plans under BD leadership and Support
  • Drive funnel development through proactive outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, virtual meetings)
  • Build and maintain a qualified prospect pipeline aligned with growth targets and manage in CRM
  • Schedule and support strategic customer meetings
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline health, market feedback, and competitive intelligence
  • Build long‑term relationships and identify areas for customer growth or cross‑sell
  • Monitor customer trends, new applications, and emerging needs in Industrial Automation
  • Maintain accurate, timely data within CRM (Salesforce) and ERP systems—logging calls, meeting reports, opportunities, leads, and follow‑ups
  • Demonstrate resilience, initiative and ownership of assigned objectives
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of prospecting and market development strategy and process
  • Collaborate with marketing on vertical messaging and support segment campaigns
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related fields
  • Previous experience in Sales or Sales support roles required
  • Proficiency with CRM, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Collaborative and excellent communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license & the ability to operate a motor vehicle
