[Remote] RPA Developer – Automation Anywhere (Remote)

Cognizant is a leading technology company, and they are seeking an RPA Developer to provide day-to-day production support for RPA processes built on Automation Anywhere. The role involves monitoring bot performance, troubleshooting failures, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of enhancements and support requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day production support for RPA processes built on Automation Anywhere, including monitoring bot performance, troubleshooting failures, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents
• Serve as a primary point of contact for the Fusion project, maintaining clear, professional, and proactive communication with client stakeholders
• Document support activities, incident resolutions, and process changes to maintain accurate operational records
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of enhancements and support requests
• Review, modify, and optimize RPA scripts and workflows using Automation Anywhere and related tools
• Write clean, maintainable code for small enhancements, bug fixes, and automation improvements
• Assist in developing reusable components, coding standards, and best practices for the Fusion project
• Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing for new or updated automations
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying automation opportunities and recommending process optimizations
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and documentation standards across all RPA activities

Skills

• USC or GC only
• Provide day‑to‑day production support for RPA processes built on Automation Anywhere, including monitoring bot performance, troubleshooting failures, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents
• Serve as a primary point of contact for the Fusion project, maintaining clear, professional, and proactive communication with client stakeholders
• Document support activities, incident resolutions, and process changes to maintain accurate operational records
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of enhancements and support requests
• Review, modify, and optimize RPA scripts and workflows using Automation Anywhere and related tools
• Write clean, maintainable code for small enhancements, bug fixes, and automation improvements
• Assist in developing reusable components, coding standards, and best practices for the Fusion project
• Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing for new or updated automations
• Must be a USC / GC due to project and data‑handling requirements
• Strong coding background (e.g., Python, VBScript, JavaScript, SQL, or similar) to support debugging and enhancement tasks
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying automation opportunities and recommending process optimizations
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and documentation standards across all RPA activities
• Prior experience supporting RPA projects, especially with Automation Anywhere and or UiPath, is strongly preferred
• However, position is open to candidates with experience on other RPA tools as well
