They are seeking a Government Enterprise Sales Development Representative to leverage sales and relationship-building skills to uncover new opportunities and introduce prospective clients to Submittable's services.
Responsibilities
- Identify key decision-makers within top state departments and agencies to initiate meaningful conversations about Submittable
- Transform cold leads into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) through strategic outreach and consistent engagement
- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives (AEs) to schedule and facilitate meetings with qualified prospects
- Maximize outreach efforts using CRM and Sales tools
- Uncover prospects’ challenges and demonstrate how Submittable provides solutions to key government sector problems
- Support Enterprise AEs in nurturing longer-lead prospects and executing strategies for leads not yet in the pipeline
- Provide prompt and accurate responses to prospects' questions while showcasing deep industry and product expertise
- Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Submittable’s platform, including its features, functionality, and value within the government sector
Skills
- 6+ months of sales development experience, focusing on cold outreach (calls, emails, social selling)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse target personas
- Comfortable multitasking, managing processes, and tracking sales activities using CRM tools
- Proven ability to connect with prospects, generate interest, and move leads through the sales pipeline
- Self-driven with a passion for achieving goals, experimenting with new strategies and constantly striving for success
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment, able to pivot as needed to meet evolving needs
- A team-oriented mindset and excitement to contribute to the success of a high-growth company
