About the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional to fill a full-time remote position focusing on customer service and support. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys solving complex problems while representing a leading platform in the beverage alcohol industry.
In this role, you will handle customer inquiries primarily through our online ticketing system, where you will process a wide variety of requests. Your responsibilities will include processing batch order imports with precision and accuracy, assisting producers in navigating and maximizing our platform's features, handling customer order questions with patience and expertise, and resolving issues related to account management, billing, and technical challenges.
The ideal candidate will bring kindness, patience, and exceptional customer service skills to every interaction. Schedule and Location Requirements:
- Shifts: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Location: Close proximity to Windsor, CA is required to allow for in-person training and ongoing quarterly meetings
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries through our online ticketing system promptly and professionally, ensuring resolution within established SLAs
- Process batch order imports with meticulous attention to detail, verifying data accuracy and maintaining system integrity
- Assist producers in navigating the arenaflex platform, providing guidance on features, tools, and best practices
- Handle customer order questions, including order status, modifications, cancellations, and troubleshooting
- Resolve complex issues related to account management, billing inquiries, and technical challenges
- Document all interactions in our CRM system, maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
- Identify and escalate recurring issues to the appropriate teams for process improvement
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with platform updates and industry developments
- Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing knowledge, offering support, and maintaining professionalism at all times
- Meet or exceed performance metrics related to response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a tasting room and/or other winery administrative role
- 2 years of experience working with CRMs and multiple online platforms simultaneously
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data review, transfer, and manipulation
- Skilled problem-solver with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with strong time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Patience, kindness, and an open communication style
- Willingness to participate in on-the-job training with a growth mindset
- Aptitude for sales and genuine dedication to customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in e-commerce or technology support roles
- Familiarity with the beverage alcohol industry's unique regulations and practices
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros
- Experience with Zendesk, Freshdesk, or similar ticketing systems
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish is a plus)
