Position Overview: Make an Impact from Home

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will contribute directly to the achievement of our service delivery standards, performance targets, and financial objectives. This role is fundamental to ensuring that patients have a positive, seamless experience when interacting with our organization.

You will be responsible for resolving patient accounts in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining the highest standards of customer care. Your ability to treat every individual with compassion, respect, and dignity will be essential to your success in this role. Additionally, you will play a critical part in protecting patient privacy and ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties as a Customer Service Representative will include:


  • Patient Account Resolution: Efficiently investigate and resolve patient accounts, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of inquiries while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Customer Experience Excellence: Deliver exceptional service to every patient, creating positive interactions that reflect arenaflex's commitment to whole-person care and compassionate support.

  • Schedule Adherence: Closely adhere to set schedules and handle time standards, demonstrating reliability and professionalism in managing your availability to assist customers.

  • Privacy Protection: Maintain strict confidentiality and protect patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations and arenaflex's privacy policies.

  • Compassionate Communication: Treat all customers with empathy, respect, and patience, understanding that patients may be dealing with stressful health situations.

  • Documentation & Accuracy: Maintain thorough and accurate records of all patient interactions, ensuring proper documentation for continuity of care and legal compliance.

  • Problem Resolution: Effectively address and resolve customer concerns, escalating issues when necessary while providing appropriate solutions.

  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and positive patient outcomes.

Work Schedule & Availability

This position operates on a standard schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Please note that the schedule may change depending on training requirements and business needs. We value flexibility and will provide advance notice of any schedule modifications.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:


  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience is required.

  • Availability: Must be available to work within the established schedule and demonstrate flexibility when business needs require adjustments.

  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency with computer systems, phone systems, and customer relationship management software.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally.

Note: Staff coming on board as "on-call" (non-benefited) may have the education and experience requirements waved at arenaflex's discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will strengthen your application and demonstrate your readiness for success in this role:


  • Associate Degree: An associate degree in a related field such as healthcare administration, business, or communications.

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, or a related field.

  • Healthcare Experience: Previous experience in healthcare customer service, medical billing, or patient advocacy roles.

  • Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with health insurance processes, medical terminology, and healthcare billing procedures.

  • Multi-lingual Capabilities: Proficiency in Spanish or other languages commonly spoken in our service areas.

Compensation & Benefits

arenaflex is committed to providing competitive compensation that reflects the value you bring to our organization. The salary range varies by location:


  • Northern California (Napa, Sonoma): $21.82 - $33.99 per hour

  • Southern California & Northern California (Humboldt): $19.45 - $30.29 per hour

  • Washington Puget Sound & Oregon (Portland): $18.66 - $29.06 per hour

  • Oregon (Hood River, Medford, Seaside): $17.39 - $27.09 per hour

  • Eastern Washington (Richland, Spokane, Walla Walla): $16.60 - $25.86 per hour

  • Montana: $15.02 - $23.40 per hour

  • Texas & New Mexico: $14.23 - $22.17 per hour
