[Remote] Clean Energy Technical Project Coordinator

EMC Insights is a boutique energy efficiency and decarbonization program delivery firm that focuses on program design and implementation services. They are seeking a Clean Energy Technical Project Coordinator to manage and support utility-sponsored existing building retro-commissioning programs, ensuring project completion and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Manage Service Providers and EBCx projects
  • Coordinate day-to-day aspects of projects, including quality control of deliverables, client communications, maintaining project schedules, and utilizing technical staff
  • Promptly and accurately address customer concerns to assure problem resolution and promote long-term productive relationships
  • Understand the organization and decision-making process to work with stakeholders in determining project eligibility, schedule, and potential energy savings
  • Manage on-time delivery of technical reports
  • Commute to off-site locations to facilitate meetings with stakeholders
  • Analyze utility data to determine energy performance parameters and eligibility
  • Review technical reports, cost estimates, and energy saving calculations
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills

  • BA or BS degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Business Management, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 1+ years of project coordination experience (internships included) or similar within the energy efficiency industry
  • Working knowledge and field knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects and work with technical staff
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with extensive contact with clients and engineers
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently with little oversight
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills with the ability to present and analyze energy efficiency data to a multi-layered audience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • MS degree is desired
  • Experience in financial analysis of various energy projects
  • Industrial Assessment Center experience
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask while consistently meeting deadlines with accuracy and within budget
  • Familiarity with the energy efficiency industry, and preferably retro-commissioning
