This position is responsible for managing various aspects of regulatory compliance activities for health plan business. The Regulatory Consultant evaluates new and existing state and federal laws and regulations, in consultation with other regulatory affairs consultants and leadership, to advise internal customers and advance the health plan's interests. With a solid track record of subject matter expertise, the Regulatory Consultant supports the Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, and Government Affairs Department in internal implementation processes related to the health plan's legal obligations and new business initiatives. The Regulatory Consultant serves as an internal subject matter expert to staff and leadership at PHP regarding regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for the analysis of legal obligations and complex regulatory reporting requirements. The work of the Regulatory Consultant impacts PHP's legal and regulatory obligations as well as financial obligations to Providence Health Plan customers.

Required Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in health insurance, compliance and/or legal experience, or work in another highly regulated industry interpreting regulatory guidance and facilitating new regulatory implementations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years experience in health plan insurance, compliance and/or legal experience.
- Compliance Certification.
