Operations Coordinator

Radchem Products, Inc. is a chemical distribution company located in the southwest Chicago suburbs, seeking an Operations Coordinator to ensure effective sales order management. The role involves serving as a primary point of contact in the order flow process, managing order changes, and coordinating order fulfillment to provide a positive experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders in support of the Sales team
• Send order confirmations with accurate pricing based on customer quotes
• Build strong relationships with customers and maintain consistent communication on order status
• Review, understand, and communicate customer requirements and instructions
• Keep track of regularly updated customer information across various databases
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments
• Coordinate with the Logistics team on freight movement
• Coordinate with the Supply team on purchases of raw materials
• Coordinate with Compliance team to ensure that orders conform to standards

Skills

• Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
• 0-2 years of professional experience
• Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office applications
• Comfortable with processing large volumes of data
• Intense focus on data accuracy
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize, multitask, and problem solve
• Remain accessible outside of standard business hours when necessary
• Interest in sales, logistics & supply chain management
• Familiarity with Salesforce
